我挣扎着出来，抬起头看到的只是一张张陌生的面孔，和手指在对我指指点点。
原来是我的主人想丢下我了。我看到我的主人在卡车上，车越开越远。于是我掉头就去追那辆卡车。当我追着卡车的时候，我们共同度过的时光就像放电影一样在我的眼前闪过。我看见（这里指记忆重现）了我那患肝癌的男主人，他满眼悲伤地望着我。我看见我伴随主人去过每个地方；我看见他躺在病床上，女主人（在那里）泪流满面。

Early in the morning, I was taken in a nylon bag into a truck. I felt horrible as well as puzzled. What would she do with me? She was almost mad after the death of her husband.一大早，我就被装进了尼龙袋子，并被放进车上。我又怕又迷惑。她究竟要对我做些什么?

So I cast my head in the direction of the truck. The days we spent together were like a movie playing in front of my eyes as I ran after the truck.

I saw my male owner, who suffered liver cancer, looked at me with his sad eyes. I saw myself follow my owner everywhere；I saw him lie in his dying bed, she all in tears.

I ran as fast as I could. And the moment I saw her wave to me, my eyes became wet.

She seemed even somewhat angry at his leaving her alone, trying many ways to remove the pains of losing him. She burned his picture and clothes, she redecorated the whole house. 她很生气他留下了她一个人，她想方设法想要抹去失去他的痛苦。她烧光了他的画和衣物，并重新装修了整个房子。
Now I was the only existing thing to remind her of him. But later, I am pretty sure that she would realize how mad she was to do this---而我是唯一一个能令她想起他的。但后来，我很确信她会意识到她这么做是多么的疯狂
The truck finally stopped when I was almost worn out. She ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I heard her whisper: “I know you are a present he left to me.”
