交通堵塞，环境污染，英语作文。
Environmental problems are as big as not for individual country or individual people to address. In other word, we have reached the stage that environmental problems be solved for international view. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In recent years, many nations have become more aware of the environmental issues each nation faces, such as air and water pollution. The question is, are the environmental issues a national problem or an international problem? It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of becoming an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve.
Because of the differences in environmental policies, resources and technology, international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology. By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems, the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed. Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole.
One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection. In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed, the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international commission elected by the participating nations of the world. All members must agree to abide by the standards established.
The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world. The impact is long term and international in scope. Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole, depletion of the ozone layer, water pollution, air polution, etc., the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation, not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems.
As part of the same planet, it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment. Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment.
Traffic congestion has long been a problem of great concern and complaint in big cities. It has caused a lot of inconvenience to people's life and work. The first cause is the great increase in the number of private cars. Cars take up more space but they carry fewer people. Some private car drivers, ignoring traffic regulations, drive only for the sake of their own convenience, blocking the way of other public transportation vehicles. The second cause is the slow and inefficient construction and improvement of the roads and streets. With a large population and numbers of automobiles increasing, some roads still remain unimproved, which will surely lead to problems. Let all of us act now to solve it.长期来交通拥塞一直是大城市最关心和抱怨的问题.已造成人们生活和工作的很大不便.首要原因是私家车数量的大量增加.小汽车占用了更多空间,但他们却携带很少的人.一些私家车司机无视交通规则,开车时只图自己的方便,挡住了其他公共交通工具的道路.其次是缓慢而低效的建设及对道路和街区的完善.随着人口越来越多和汽车数量的成倍增长,而道路依旧保持原样,无疑会导致问题的产生.让我们所有的人现在就采取行动来解决它.
1.As time develops,there are many large changing happenings in people’s lives. Being like otherWest countries, private cars begin to be very popular in our country. It hasmany advantages. Firstly, it makes people’s lives very convenient. It can drivepeople to wherever they want. Secondly, private cars help us save much time. Wedon’t have to wait for the bus. Thirdly, private cars are also a symbol ofstatus. Luxury cars represent wealth and power.However, privatecars have many disadvantages as well. For one thing, the waste emission hascaused serious air pollution with more private cars. For the other thing, moreprivate cars is making the problem of traffic jam much worse.
As far as I amconcerned, the advantages of the private cars will far outweigh thedisadvantages. The problems will be solved finally. To me ，I prefer to travel by public transforms. I should be a green consummer.
2.Whether people should have a privatecar in their lives
As the Chinese economy is developing better and better, the Chinese are getting much richer than ever before. Now more and more of them are considering buying a private car to make life even more wonderful. As a matter of fact, a car can definitely bring great convenience to our lives. However, we must notice at the same time that the cost of using a car is growing fast, and the commute is getting worse. Worst of all, the pollutant brought by using cars is harming the environment severely. Now the whole world is asking people to try tool like bicycle instead of cars when they go out in order to decrease the amount of the pollutant expelled to the air. Therefore, we should support our government and try our best to protect our own environment. Only when we do this do we stand a chance to have a better world in the future!
Nowadays more and more families own private cars. Private cars, as the product of modem civilization, have been playing a vital role in people's daily activities. First, private cars are a convenient means of transportation. You can go wherever you like. Secondly, there is no doubt that private cars will have a great impact on the economic growth. The rapid car industry growth will contribute much to keeping the country's economy growing at a higher rate in the near futrue. But every coin has two sides. The development of the private cars will bring about a series of problems. For example, the polluted air given off by cars will do great harm to our health, too many private cars will lead to traffic jams and a great deal of energy will be wasted and so on. So I think we should take advantages of private cars and make them serve us better. Meantime we hope that satisfactory solutions to these negative problems will be found soon.
